Scenes from a duck boat parade.

Confetti falls on the Red Sox parade

I celebrated the Red Sox World Series championship on my lunch break as the duck boat parade approached Government Center. Here are more of my photos of the players and the fans; I like this one because you can see the colored confetti glimmering in the background.

As a long term resident of Denver and a Rockies fan from their inception, I can't tell you how much we wanted to have that same parade in Denver. My 5 year old son actually dressed up for Halloween as a zombie Colorado Rockies player (I'm assuming he was killed in the world series by Boston) Alas, Cinderella, her pumpkin and the whole fairytale had to end. Congrats to the Sox but let's hear it for the Rox! Wait till next year Walton!

Thanks for the photos. I really liked the shot of the bagpipes!
