When lolcats light a chalice.

Denizens of the interdependent web, you'll either think this Unitarian Universalist take on an Internet fad is funny or makes no sense whatsoever. [Link updated!] Those of you in the latter category will probably find Wikipedia's entry on lolcats illuminating, although perhaps not sufficiently to make them compelling. (Hat tip, Dubhlainn.)

LOLCats are much approved at work -- though Fail Blog is hotter now -- and this is my favorite of the recent batch: http://icanhascheezburger.com/2008/05/31/funny-pictures-sin-ov-de-month-club-delivry/

Now that you are a fellow raiser of a little human, I'll let you in on a secret that will come in handy months down the road: LOL cats are highly entertaining for wee ones. Nathan and his dad regularly spend the time when I'm making dinner in front of I Can Haz Cheezburger. This has resulted in Nathan believing that walruses like buckets, but no other ill effects are apparent.

I wasn't sure (when I clicked the link) which image you meant. The link attached to this name has quite a few UU-based lol images.

Oops! Scott M, I accidentally linked to the original lolcat website when I meant to link to the lolUU website. I've fixed the link.

Hi. I'm the creator of the LOL UUs blog. :) Thanks so much for mentioning it on this website. I'm extremely excited about all the exposure it's gotten already.
