Guide to Unitarian Universalist blogs.
A work in progress, this directory is my annotated, selective guide to the ever-expanding Unitarian Universalist blogosphere. It replaces my first Guide to UU Blogs, which I began in January 2004 and am no longer updating. (Skip the introduction.)
I've grouped similar blogs together. Each blog's self-description, the author's name (or pseudonym), the technology used, and the frequency of posting are also indicated. In a few cases, I've added a few words about the content. I've starred a few blogs in each category as the ones to check out first.
I have excluded personal sites where I can't find any (relatively recent) content explicitly related to Unitarian Universalism, even if the site is cataloged as "Unitarian Universalist" in other blog directories. I also generally steer away from online diaries and have been reluctant to list blogs by teenagers and college students — although they abound! — because I often can't tell whether the authors realize how public their posts really are. (This explains the scarcity of LiveJournal, MySpace, Zaadz, Gather, and Vox blogs on this list.) I'm sure there are several blogs I've simply forgotten to include.
If you have a Unitarian Universalist blog you want me to know about, please promote it in the comments at this post or send me email. (I'm not turning on comments here to keep this directory manageable — unlike its gangly predecessor!) Unless the content of your blog is manifestly unrelated to Unitarian Universalism — or well outside the bounds of good taste — I'll keep your comments and may elevate your blog into the main directory.
