Latest updates to my Guide to UU Blogs.

A lot has changed since I last updated my Guide to Unitarian Universalist Blogs in May 2008. (I mean, in addition to the birth of my son!) But, at last, the update is done. I've included many of the blogs people recommended to me, as well as many of the blogs that have been added to the UUpdates aggregator since my last update, but I've tried to be a bit discriminating. Even so, there are now 185 entries in the guide — and that's a lot.

If you have comments on this list, or have a blog you'd like to promote, please post them here.

Below, a quick guide to the blogs I've added and removed.

New additions to the Guide:

Ministers: UUA trustee Jose Ballester's Puerto Rican UU; David Breeden's Deity and Its Double; Ellen Cooper-Davis's rUUminations; Anthony David's Thousand Voices; Robin Gray's On Wings of Thought; LoraKim Joyner's Liberating Wings; Cynthia Landrum's Rev Cyn; and someone's labor of love, a posthumous site publicizing The Sermons and Musings of Carl J. Westman, D.D..

Seminarians: Sean Honea's Stone Soup Unitarian Universalism; Kelly KH's Seeking Divinity; Tandi Koerger's Fueled by Faith; Erik Resley's Embodied Fragments.

Religious commentary: Rebecca Clack's A Light in the Arctic; Logan Geen's The New Unitarian Universalist; Kari Kopnik's Chalice Spark.

Spirituality: Boston Unitarian; David G. Markham's UU a Way of Life.

Journalists:'s The Interdependent Web.

Scholars: Myriam Renaud's The Naked Theologian.

Diaries with commentary: Bob Francis's The Bob Files; Harrumpher's Harrumph!; Doug Stowe's Wisdom of the Hands.

Advocacy: OD/HR Min's Calling Ministers; Peace Ministry Network.

Politics and culture: Tom van Alten's Fort Boise.

International: Knut Heidelberg; Francisco Javier Lagunes's Búsqueda Unitaria and Contacto Unitario.

Removed from the Guide:

Ole Anderson's in·spired; Dean's Share the Knowledge; Jaume de Marcos's The Hanif Blog; Embroiderama's Embroidering the Truth; James Field's Left Coast Unitarian; FUUSE; CK's Arbitrary Marks; Lyonsferocious's UU Rampage!; The Rev. Nancy McDonald Ladd's Weblog; Anna Belle Leiserson's Faith and Web; LT's The Lively Tradition; Scott McNeill's iChalice; Parslife's Meanwhile, Back at the Parsonage; Polyhymnia's mUUsings; Nancy Proctor's DanceLessons; Shaktinah's Confessions of an Evangelical UU; Adam Tierney-Eliot's Parsonage Life; Drew Tripp's Postmodern Pulpit; Telos Whitfield's Help Create Peace Now; WomynRev's Secretly, Between the Shadow and the Soul.

Most of the blogs I've deleted have either gone defunct or lapsed into silence for at least six months. One still-active blogger asked to be removed.

The blue roads of thinking is a general but religious oriented blog by a lifelong Unitarian atheist. Atheist although I respect, have studied and learned from most of the traditional American religions. I host a few boards at beliefnet© and blog things I find interesting. Participation is welcomed.
