Where, oh where are the Philocritics?

Here's a fun way to find out whether you're the only Philocrites-reader in the entire hemisphere: Visit the Philocritics map at Frappr and put a pin on the map for your location. Soon we'll know where all 20 of us are. (If you'd rather not attach your zip code to your actual name, use initials or a pseudonym.) Thanks for the tip, KS!

Neat! But there's a bug in the software. Every time somebody puts a comma in their comment, the trailing space gets deleted, such that

we have wild parrots here, too

we have wild parrots here,too

...unless I and everyone else who put a comma in their comment made the exact same typo, which is unlikely.

Perhaps the QA staff at Frappr could use a copy editor?

I, for one, would only like to observe that after the all-too-obvious state of Massachusetts, Tennessee has the highest number of Philocritics.

Bursting, almost tearful, with pride,

"Where, oh where are the Philocritics?"

Good question Chris Walton aka Philocrites.

This Philocritic (as in critic of Philocrites' and other UUs' outrageous hypocrisy) resides in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and regularly "attends" the Unitarian Church of Montreal.

This particular Philocritic will soon take Philocrites' advice and start his own blog since Philocrites repeatedly censors most of my critical posts to by promptly relegating them to the proverbial UU "memory hole".

I've only "memory holed" comments that veer wildly off topic or that violate basic courtesy, Robin.

I know that we Europeans are mischievous people who shouldn't be trusted by any decent American, but why, oh why is there no map of Europe and other continents?

Oh, but there is, Jaume! On the left of the map there's a zoom bar; click lower on the bar and the map zooms out to show other continents. You'll be the second reader in Europe.

Oh, the shame.
I'm the only philocritic who's checked in for the entire state of Oregon? Portland alone has six or so congregations, including one with over 1000 members.
