Coffee Hour is listed as an also-ran in Beliefnet's round-up of "Best Spiritual Blogs." Since it isn't uncommon for Unitarian Universalist congregations to go a little quiet during the summer months, we've been a little quieter around here, too. But that doesn't mean that the dozens of UU bloggers are all on vacation. You can sample the latest UU blog entries at the Kinja UU blog digest, or start with my annotated guide to Unitarian Universalist blogs, or just sample the list of blogs and forums down at the bottom of the Coffee Hour front page.
If you are a Unitarian Universalist or religious liberal with a blog you think we'd like to know about, leave a link in the comments. (I'd still love to find a passionate reader of UU blogs to step up as a blog reviewer.)
And, since August is almost over, it's time to nominate topics for September's conversation. What do you want percolating as the church year gets underway? Put your beans in the coffee grinder.
Welcome to Coffee Hour!
A Unitarian Univeralist, a Baptist, and a Muslim walk into a bar... No, how about: Why did the Unitarian Universalist cross the street? Or, How many Unitarian Universalists does it take to change a light bulb?
We've all heard them. And maybe told a few ourselves. What are the best and worst UU jokes? And who is the best UU joke teller? Do you enjoy a good UU joke, or do you find them off putting? Are UU jokes appropriate for a worship setting (say, in a sermon)? Let's get the discussion started! (No snorting allowed.)
