Anyone can find Iraq facts easily in the news, but Greg's accounts of his experiences and feelings make this terrible war so much more personal. I look forward to reading every entry for a deeper understanding of what it means to be in the front lines. Greg is a serious and very able writer.

Greg's posts give me the experiences of both the mundane and horrors of war. I appreciate being able to get another perspective, a primary source report, rather than just the propaganda we hear/read in the news. Greg really holds true to the UU principals of the inherent worth of ALL life, not only the allied personnel.

The postings by Greg reveal a keen mind and gentle heart which will serve him well in UU ministry.

Thank you, Greg, for taking the time to express your thoughts and feelings about your experience in Iraq. I am very happy that you are thinking of UU ministry; we UU's are very lucky to have someone like you take up the leadership role.

Do you have to comment to vote? What a poorly designed poll.

No, Mr Underhill, you only need to select one of the candidates in the box that says "Poll" at the top and "AddFreeStats" at the bottom. Unfortunately, there may be browsers that are set to block scripts of the sort that place the poll in the page. I'm sorry if that's the case, but there's nothing I can do about it. Think of the comments as testimonials outside the polling station.

Greg's personal experience living in Iraq provides a intimate perspective on the daily life of a Marine at war. I found the blog very captivating and enabled me to better empathize with the plight of our service men and women.

While many of the others are well written, I find that UU in King George's war deeper, broader, and with a more profound effect and affect. It changes me and makes me seek change. Thank you.
