Barack Obama, poetry set to music.

I think I recognize one person in this music video, which sets parts of Barack Obama's New Hampshire "Yes We Can" speech to music. Despite my apparent lack of pop knowledge, I found it beautiful and moving. If you're in a state that votes tomorrow, vote.

I know this is all over the internet, and I may grow tired of it soon, but until then I think this is so moving. I really hope Obama gets the nod today.

I hadn't seen this, Chris--it made me cry. I am in Kenya right now, but one of the last things I did before I left NY was cast my absentee ballot for Obama. It was fun to go to the Board of Elections office; about a dozen of us were there, and most of us said we refused to leave town before we voted for Barack! Thank you for your succinct reasoning about why he's the candidate; I'll be watching primary returns on CNN International!

I just saw this for the first time yesterday and have watched it about 50 times, I, too, like Rosemary was moved. I'm on my way out the door to vote here in Illinois, and the last few days have been in internal debate, more a coin toss between Clinton and Obama. I realized than that my issue was I was trying to think of who would make a better president. And I don't think that is what it is about. For me, this vote has come down to who can unite our nation.

I watched both videos. Goosebumps! I got a shiver all up and down my spine, too. (No, I don't have the flu.) Incredible! We vote in two weeks, but a few Wisconsinites mistakenly went to the polls yesterday to find them closed. Fired up and ready to go.

P and I really like the video. And we will be sure to vote in Texas next month - which I just learned has both primary and caucus systems. We are clearing our schedules for the sake of the process.

McCain gets the lyrical treatment, too. Check out "Like Hope, But Different" (via The Plank).

Teresa Hayden put together a guide to this year's YouTube music videos celebrating presidential candidates. Check it out. (Hat tip, KS.)
